[wikipedia] The vanishing marnanel
What I said on the Welsh wikipedia:
(Sori am defnyddio yr iaith fain...)I'm sorry for vanishing without explanation a few months ago. I was becoming more and more conscious of how bad my Welsh really is; I was especially reminded of this by reading someone on maes-e saying about how he thought it was a shame that there are so many learners and so few fluent speakers on Wicipedia. So I thought I'd leave until my Welsh was a bit better, or at least until I was nearer to finishing Catchphrase. I've been dropping in now and again to see how things are going meanwhile, though, and I've recently been having second thoughts about my absence. I miss the challenge of writing Welsh to this level, even the simple level that I can manage, and the feedback I get from people correcting me was really useful when I was first learning.
