Not really much of a day of things being together
I spent today wrapped up in a maze of twisty little JavaScript functions, all different, and have little to show for it. (Havoc is entirely right about the shortcomings of JavaScript. It has failings even in its most perfect form, and its most perfect form sure as heck ain't the one inside MSIE's engine.) At St Mark's, Fr Sean told us about St Lawrence, whose feast day it is today. Sharon came to an agreement to turn her temp job permanent, and took us all out for dinner at the Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet. (I have a bad habit of reading "all you can eat" as a personal challenge, and thus feeling kind of hebetudinous the whole rest of the evening.) I fell asleep on the train instead of fixing metacity.
I have a dermatologist appointment soon, and a psychiatrist appointment, and I am going to have lunch with Fr Sean, and Floatyfish is coming over tomorrow to see us, and all these things are very good things. And of course Rio is a wonderful daughter, and as always Firinel is an amazing partner who helps me grow and learn. I am very blessed.
