Mountains and things
Floatyfish, Onib, Firinel, Riordon and I went to climb Hawk Mountain on Sunday. It was a beautiful day for it, even in December.
Apparently 10% of British people are now living abroad. And it seems four-year-olds should avoid hugging their teachers now.

Yesterday I finally managed to get Metacity's compositor to compile on my laptop (where I do all my development work). Now I have windows fading in and exploding and things; it's very nifty. I'm hoping I'll be able to hack on it a bit and bring it up to the point where we can compile it in by default, even if it's turned off in gconf.
