IM IN UR BLOODSTREAM
Well, Fin's out of hospital! Yay! Last night we went to the supermarket and bought new sheets and towels, and to the laundrette and boiled the heck out of our clothes. Hopefully this will be the last we'll see of this staph. I don't know where it came from: the doctor said that people often pick it up from their kids, fwiw. Rio's not showing any symptoms, but apparently it's quite common for people to be symptomless carriers. We bought her new sheets and everything too, just in case.
I am working from home this week. There is a surprising amount of work needed to convert to Template Toolkit.
I have the nonblocking version of FUSA written now. It also fixes some minor bugs which were in the previous version. It all works except it segfaults after opening a new user. Obviously I can't commit it with that problem still in there, but I haven't had any time to work on GNOME stuff in almost a week. I need to schedule some quality time with gdb sometime in the next few days.
Bitlbee is a lovely little program. It turns jabber, AIM and MSN into a local IRC channel, so you can do all the IM you like from your IRC client. It even works with my work's famously spiky jabberd. If it allowed jabber groupchat I wouldn't use any other IM client.
